Cheaper than Dirt coming to Round Rock
Just saw a notice in the Community Impact newspaper that Cheaper Than Dirt was opening a store this fall in the La Frontera shopping center in Round Rock. For those unfamiliar with the area, it's the shopping center (where Sam's Club is) in the NW corner of the intersection of TX 45 and I-35.
Now we'll be able to get our ammo price gouging w/o shipping charges.

Sounds like its by FLix Brewhouse. Me likey FLix Brewhouse!!!
CTD can just keep on keeping on as far as I am concerned. They'll get no business from me.

It would be nice if it's the one near me moving away and not a new store!

Yet somehow Alamo Drafthouse (same concept) is not.

Yep, they can kiss my butt.
Re: Cheaper than Dirt coming to Round Rock
I echo the sentiments here. The one near me is less than 10 mins away, but I haven't walked through the doors in nearly 2 years and don't intend to.
Re: Cheaper than Dirt coming to Round Rock
Just this week I was compelled to write a letter to one of their competitors. In addition to airing a bit of a grievance, I also took the time to thank them (CTD’s competitor) for not price gouging us during the “crisis” times.

Re: Cheaper than Dirt coming to Round Rock
I was wondering if CTD realizes the damage done by their attempt to exploit the situation? Did anyone write or call them? Did you get a response?
After I saw the price on the .22 ammo, I was going to but never got around to it. Instead, I just deleted the bookmark I had to their site and haven't considered them again. I would think the $200 they were trying to make on a brick of .22's had to be offset by the thousands of orders that they didn't get from people upset with the greed. In my case, that's cost them about $1k in sales in the last year, I'm sure the amount would be much greater for some of the more hard-core.

Both. They are off of Braker lane. Military/police/first responders get discount pricing on firearms.FormerTSgt wrote:Is this local or online?longtooth wrote:I'll stick w/ GT Distributors.
