Finally! My holster idea comes to life

Post by 1s1k52 »

I don't like pure kydex and leather can be loud and hot. I have been using a Desantis tuk this II because it was nylon. I don't like the clip or retention that much. So

Anyone have one? Know of something similar? I wish comp-tac would make something like this so I could get C clips.

This holster looks very nicely made. The price is bit high though.

Were I to go the IWB route, that's probably the one I'd buy.

However, wearing that much material mass against my skin just isn't for me.

OWB, for me, is the only way to go.

Couldn't agree more. I would gladly pick one up for 50-60.00

Better man than me. My style of dress usually wouldn't let me OWB carry.

You could buy the Comp-Tac C clips and swap out the clips on this holster.

I added Comp-Tac clips to a Crossbreed holster.

It does look really nice but I got a great leather/kydex combo just like this for $55. It would be hard for me to pay more for nylon.

Have you looked at Alien Gear's 'Cloak Tuck 2.0' ? At $36 it's hard to go terribly wrong. There are all the common clip add-on extras and the provided hardware allows you to adjust standoff.

I've had mine (for a Glock 26) for several weeks and like it.

That one offers a generous depth of carry adjustment. Might have to check it out.

Neoprene seems like the opposite of the breathable material in that first holster.

I haven't tried the Alien Gear Cloak Tuck 2.0, but that's what came to mind on this thread for me too.

$99.99 vs $35ish seems like a big difference. I'd be far more apt to try the Cloak Tuck 2.0 since I bought the original Cloak Tuck and love it.
