Hello,
I am trying to submit my CHL application, but currently active duty stationed in the STL area. I have completed everything else, just my fingerprints have expired that I did with the state. Is there any way that Texas can use my military records for my fingerprints, especially since that is where I enlisted? Unfortunately, I am not going to be able to come home for a while and my application will expire in December. I know I should have done it faster than what I did, but thats beside the point. Thanks for the help.

DPS will only accept the electronic fingerprints for CHL. Who advised your fingerprints are no longer valid? DPS?

Re: Fingerprinting for military
If they are truly expired you might call DPS and talk to them about submitting paper copies. I seem to remember reading that there are some remote counties that aren't close to an electronic finger printing place and people in those counties can submit paper copies of prints. Not sure how much luck you would have but if you don't ask the answer is no. Too bad the states can't access your prints that are on file with DoD. Thanks for your service and good luck wit this!

Last i heard, DPS lets you schedule the fingerprints after you submit the online application. Did that change?
