Quick (Important) Questions

Post by TheBlake »

Hey all, I will keep this short and sweet. Just finished the online application and have two Questions:

1. I scheduled my fingerprints for this week on Friday, but did not have an application ID. Do I need this for my prints?

2. For criminal history, I was convicted of Underage DWI in Nashville, TN in 2006. I disclosed this in my application, do I need to send hard copy records of this? If so, what do I need to send and do I send this with my course completion in the mail?

Thanks for your help!

I'm not 100% sure on the fingerprints but I hope DPS sends the particulars when you schedule through them. Maybe Crossfire or one of the other IdentoGO/Morpho/L-1 partners can shed some light.

For your conviction, the best thing is to send a physical document from the court/clerk showing the disposition. You can send it with your course completion paperwork or separately. Less chance of one part getting misplaced if you send them together, unless you're likely to misplace your CHL-100 while you're waiting on the court. :mrgreen:

Good luck!
It looks like you can get a certified copy for $5. http://ccc.nashville.gov/about-our-serv ... nd-checks/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Great, I will get a hold of the court tomorrow... Hopefully they don't take too long!

On the fingerprints, it was weird. I talked to them and they said I don't need any paperwork, just my drivers license. Can someone else chime in on this part??

If you have applied for your CHL and then were able to schedule your fingerprint appointment, then you should be fine. The state should match up the fingerprints with your application.
