Note to self, if unarmed, turn keys over to man with gun before he shoots you. After is not as successful.

Hoodieman decided afterwards a 30 year old 4 runner did not have enough street cred.

I really like 1st generation 4runners, however, I know that they are not the best escape vehicle. Heck of a deal to be shot over one.

Too bad for the victim, the perp probably couldn't drive a stick shift.
I've got a 1981 Land Cruiser and I've had several service techs and valets admit they can't or don't like to drive stick shifts.
Sad...

Still remember the first time my wife tried to drive one of the 60's Dodge p/u trucks my Dad kept on the ranch. She did eventually give up trying to find the "D" on that "3 on the tree".

I've got to admit that I had trouble when transitioning to a "3 on the tree" stick shift... Funky.

How the article concluded
"The suspect is described as being black and in his early twenties. He was about 5 feet 6 inches tall and slender. He wore a two-tone blue hoodie and dark pants"

How the story should have concluded

"The suspect is described as being black and in his early twenties. He was about 5 feet 6 inches tall and slender. He wore a two-tone blue hoodie and dark pants last seen with several large holes in chest and leaking copiously. "
