Another CHL holder to the rescue.
Another good story that appears to have ended well.

We could cut everyday crime by 75% or more if the justice system was not a revolving door.

Also if folks knew others would intervene when they were doing nefarious deeds...Jumping Frog wrote:We could cut everyday crime by 75% or more if the justice system was not a revolving door.

All good stuff, however, what I found disturbing was the language used in the article in that he
as words have meaning and brandishing seems to imply an improper act (being new to TX my understanding is that there is no specific law regarding brandishing). To me, that article comes across as a written by an anti who reluctantly had to report that the CHL holder helped.brandished his gun to end the robbery

I was wondering the same thing (got to love the media begrudgingly admitting not all guns are bad) , although to be fair, what better wording would there be for "brandishing"? "Scared to the ground by weapon" maybeGlockster wrote:All good stuff, however, what I found disturbing was the language used in the article in that heas words have meaning and brandishing seems to imply an improper act (being new to TX my understanding is that there is no specific law regarding brandishing). I think that something like, "and then the upstanding citizen drew his weapon, thereby stopping the robbery" could have been a better way to go.madwildcat wrote:I was wondering the same thing (got to love the media begrudgingly admitting not all guns are bad) , although to be fair, what better wording would there be for "brandishing"?
