Ccw and posted app for iPhone
I downloaded the ccw app as it has laws and updates for all states. The posted app is an imbedded option that lists places that are posted by users. Seems like good info one the first app, yet found myself in a posted (30.06) location that wasn't on the app. Anyone use this and find it useful?

Re: Ccw and posted app for iPhone
I have used CCW and posted apps on Android for almost a year now. I haven't run across a 30.06 sign that wasn't listed, but I live in a small town and try to avoid the big cities. I have travelled across the SW US and found the app very useful for other states info. I don't rely on the app 100% and will use the state statute links to back up the info in the app and clarify info in the app. So far I haven't found any inaccurate info in the CCW app. I have use Posted when traveling and have found it to be fairly accurate as well. Last week after eating breakfast in one of my favorite restaurants in Albuquerque I noticed a compliant no guns sign on the wall next to the door as I exited. There was no way to see the sign upon entering the restaurant unless I entered and turned 180 degrees to see the wall behind me. Within 10 minutes of leaving I added it to Posted. I was planning a trip to ID, OR, WA and CA in May and after seeing CA in the app, I went to the state website and was overwhelmed with the rules and restrictions. The CA portion of that trip has been cancelled but OR and WA will require diligence on my part to stay legal. Overall, love both apps and they provide a quick reference for laws in all 50 states. Good luck!
