I'm surprised those that are usually quick to quote chapter and verse of the various applicable gun laws remain mum concerning this city hall's practice of demanding/recording personal information.

I can only conclude they don't know either, which then leads me to believe city hall is doing something they've no legal right to demand, but most CHLers go along to get along.

Yes Sir Boss, I have my hat in my hand, my eyes are averted and here's all my info, now may I please come in, pretty please?

The meek won't inherit the earth, but they can get into city hall if they grovel adequately...

I can see them asking to view a CHL if you're wanting to bypass the scan. Recording of the information is problematic.
