Which do you prefer? HB910 or SB17

Post by C-dub »

I thought I'd give this a try. I haven't done a poll before and maybe the folks in Austin will see this. Simple and straight forward.

Wow! 100% of the respondents so far agree with me! Of course...I am the only vote so far.

HB910. The amendments are better.

Given a choice of one or the other, I like the reduced 30.06/.07 penalty and the explicit prohibition of open carry being used as probable cause of HB910. But really, either one would be fine with me.

I think the reduced penalty is best part of HB910.

:iagree:

No longer would we have to fear losing our CHL if we missed a 30.06 sign.

I chose HB910 for the simple reason that they are pretty much the same bill to me sans the amendment in SB17. Doesn't either bill accomplish the same thing? Is there a rule against voting on both bills in the different chambers? Seems silly to me that both bills are being held up for a vote :headscratch

Dear Legislature: Put one or both of the bills for a vote! :txflag:

Wasn't me.
