Just curious what the board thinks will happen.

If Campus Carry gets attached to OC in the Senate we will get both - if not then probably only OC.

As much as I would like to say both, I have a gut feeling we are going to get shut out this session. I hope I am wrong.

I can't use the words to express how I will feel if that happens!

Looks like it's going to be down to the wire. When nothing gets done they'll all be saying we tried and the blame game will begin. Of course they will still expect us to vote for them. :nono:

I believe there are enough people, public and other political, that are on the fence as far as Campus Carry goes. If it gets attached to the Open Carry bill it will probably kill both.

My thought is that they should let OC pass and come back for Campus Carry.

Yep. We need to take what is avaialble and then come back again for the rest. Taking a page out of the grabbers book... IF, (big if) we get shut out, there needs to be some politicians held accountable for these failures. Contributions come into question (I'm a Texas GOP Grassroots Member) and primary challenges with an eye towards removing those who either failed to push these bills, allowed them to die or subtly opposed them through parliamentary maneuver.

Am I a one issue voter/party member? No, but some issues are more equal than others...

After 70 votes being cast 61% feel we will get OC while 34% feel like we will get campus carry along
with it. The remaining 39% feel like we will come up empty handed. I'm feeling positive about what ya'll
are feeling. Keep voting!
