*DELETE* WTS CMC Single Stage 3.5lb trigger with large pins

Post by RogueUSMC »

I reworked the logo for an FFL and got him some cool t-shirts with his logo on them. I traded the shirts for a stripped lower receiver and a CMC trigger group. I had the lower, the upper, the foreend and the receiver extention duracoated. When I went to start assembly on the upper, I realized I had a trigger group with large pins for a Colt. I called him up and he said he didn't know this set had the large pins as he never orders those. I told him I would see if I couldn't sell them rather than return something to him that he can't use, so here I am.

I put the trigger up on ebay and it was approved...but then they emailed me and said I had violated their firearms policy. Their policy states that trigger assemblies are ok to sell as long as I am only shipping it domestically but the fact that this goes in an AR makes it parts to an assault weapon and that is a violation evidently.

Retail on this trigger group is $167.50. there are folks charging more but this seems to be the going rate from places like Midway and such. $160 shipped is my offer. I will take $150 if you pick it up from me in Tyler.

Let me know if anyone wants this. I will be calling CMC and see if there is a conversion pin set or something...lol. Who knows, they may let me swap it out with them...

Ouch! Such a sweet trigger, but those large pins are going to make it a hard sell. Colt quit using the large pins and went to mil-spec probably 10+ years ago.

Good luck!

UPDATE
I called CMC and explained my situation...lol. They blew my mind at their customer service! Their lifetime warranty covers EVERYTHING. The sweet young lady on the phone said to just mail mine back with details as to what I need and they will ship the one I need back to me. She even said that, if you, say, get a curved trigger and ended up wanting the flat, mail it to them and they will swap it out...even if it has been used! WOW! I am a customer!
