Just as we were leaving the Luby's in Bellmeade we heard sirens and saw police in haste to the Walmart.

This seems lawful to me, if the threat of being run down was imminent.

Sounds a little iffy to me. First he pulls a gun on someone taking tools out of someone else's vehicle? How does he know anything is actually wrong?
