The Senate committee took it out because it was a poison pill? The question remains, WHY did Huffines put it back in? I don't believe it was Dutton's motivation.

2 Reasons:

1) They get jammed up because there are a whole lot of politicians who talk about liberty, but don't want us to be able to walk in liberty.

2) They get jammed up because there are a whole lot of politicians who either don't know their knee from their elbow, or they have a very loose association with the truth, and they can't keep their egos out of the mix.

Pathetic. Texas isn't looking quite so "red" now.

Sb11 won't concur. What a waste of a session.

No. Third reading. It goes to conference now, along with HB 910, both of which can be killed in conference and the following arguments in each house. It's clear that voting for Republicans is no better than voting for Democrats. We need an entirely new class of politicians - citizens.

The other side is more organized. Last session, during the campus carry debate, Johnny Wood and his ilk allegedly came from all over and parked in Texas and called, stating they were college kids in Texas and were against it.

This time, those against this yelled louder.
