Oh there are plenty with blood on them from this fiasco. OC and campus carry could have been done weeks ago, look to see who decided to wait until the last minute to finally pick up a bill passed by the other chamber.
Given Charles' answer to someone's question about it being possible that both the Huffines and Dutton amendment being dumped, and since the conf committee is restricted to considering only conflicting language, I'm guessing they consider each whole amendment (not just the order of words in a single sentence) to be in conflict with each other, and therefore in their powers to drop them both, thus making the bills identical. They only need three votes from each chamber's conference committee members to pass or endorse or put forward the committee report. All in favor? six ayes, four nays, the report is filed.
