I heard some announcements earlier that they are serving food, drink and fun to commemorate and recognize freshman members, etc., around 6 or 6:30pm and invited everyone. Additions in order for the "use of time wisely" list.

Does anyone know if the House is planning on wrapping up before 7:40pm today?
I think HB 910 is on the House calendar today, not the Senate. What happens at 7:40pm ?

Annnnd of course someone objects to early consideration.

Edit - Strauss isn't up front right now - I wonder if a Republican may have objected to let him handle the floor, rather than Demo stalling.

Edit 2 - Never mind, objection withdrawn!

Sounds like they have to vote to approve of removing the language before they can vote on HB910 itself.

Thanks!

Discussion & debate? I thought this was just an up/down vote to accept the committee report?

From what Chairman Phillips stated, they have to vote to approve the entire amendment being removed since it's not a "standard" move by the conference committee.

EDIT FOR CLARITY:
Sorry, I just restated what you said. I think he just wanted to ask questions :confused5
