Could we use an AR pistol with a wrist brace for qualification? No, I'm not saying that I would - I don't even own one (yet), but I'm curious if it would be acceptable to do so?

That IS an interesting question. I believe the handgun has to be .32 caliber or greater, so that would rule out a standard .223 AR pistol. But I would think as long is it met the .32 caliber or greater, it should work, but the folks next to you probably won't be very happy.Vol Texan wrote:Now that the OP's question has been answered, and the OP has responded in kind, this topic has brought up an interesting question...

I could be wrong, but I don't believe the law changing the minimum caliber from .32 to .22 passed, so on those grounds it wouldn't be.Vol Texan wrote:Now that the OP's question has been answered, and the OP has responded in kind, this topic has brought up an interesting question...

From my research of checking on suppressors, the .32 or greater keeps me from using my 5.7 so that should prevent the use of an AR pistol, too... unless... .50 beowulf pistol, anyone???Lumberjack98 wrote:That IS an interesting question. Looking forward to responses on the brace.
