I emailed my State Rep and Senator. The Rep is the only one to respond. In my email, I listed the time line and a quick note. " When I don't register or inspect my car, I get fined. Exceeding the time limit is unacceptable. I expect more for my taxes and my vote!" This was emailed at 10:45pm. I was emailed the next morning and Leo Williams called me by noon! I had plastic in hand within 7 days. USPS took 3 of those days! I also emailed my Rep thanking him and explained that I support the Provisional License idea. Not the 120 day time limit idea for next years session. Please add that little tidbit to the end of the thank you email. My Rep didn't seem to know about the Provisional License idea. He does now and he likes that idea as well. Thanks Mr. Cotton!
