The second picture looks like one of the guys from Laugh-In, maybe Alan Sues?

The one in the animal print is Sacha Baron Cohen, in his role in the movie Brüno.

Barbara Mori
Barbara Mori
This woman is Barbara Mori. She is a Mexican actress. She is 1/4 Japanese, 1/4 Uruguayan, and 1/2 Mexican.

Of course, Uruguayan and Mexican can include any number of native American and European ethnicities.

She is 31 years old.

Google her name and knock yourselves out if interested.

Have they caught this thing preying on middle schoolers yet?

Also, I can't help but wonder if this individual realizes that PSC isn't far away. The irony.

ETA: I do agree that the media should give the best description possible. Although it is true that many Americans no longer fit securely into racial/ethnic categories, we can still be given an idea of what to look for. If a 12-year-old saw a white male, the rest of us would likely do so as well, even if it turned out in the end that the person was Asian-American. KWIM?

There are at least three. None of them have been caught, to my knowledge. They may be sitting in jail on some unrelated charge like drug possession or theft.

I've seen some research about child molesters that suggests that they may victimize dozens to over 100 children before they are caught.

Jim, that is partly my concern, which is why I hope they catch the person soon.

However, you brought up a valid point earlier in the thread--many child molesters will prey on someone they know. The snatch-n-grab isn't as common a situation, but probably the most traumatic for a victim (I would imagine).

Thanks for posting this. Anytime I hear of a person on the "predator spectrum" running loose in my area, I pay particular attention & try to get the word out to others around me. I know many people in and around Friendswood appreciate the heads-up.

The Gulf Freeway corridor (I-45 south of Houston for those who don't live around here) seems particularly infested. There have been quite a few abductions of girls and young women, and all those bodies found buried in the so-called Killing Fields.

Maybe I'm just more aware of the problem because I live here.

I've also noticed that we hear about a lot of abductions in that area. However, Mars & I lived there about ten years ago. It could simply be piquing my interest for that reason. Regardless, that's got to be a horrible experience to survive or a horrible way to die; it's important to remain aware of our surroundings.
