Too bad SAKO didn't take over Remington/Marlin firearms.

We, the store I worked for, sold SAKO's back in the 60's. We only had the Vixen in .222 and a another model in a caliber I didn't like or I would have bought one. If we had had a Fin-Wolf, the lever action I would have bough one for sure, no matter the caliber. I ended up with a Win Model 88. The SAKO's were beautiful firearms!

A buddy of mine has one of their Model 85s in .300 WinMag. Have to go look it up... Pretty sure it's this one: https://choose.sako.fi/global/code/SAX3315A2037D3. He's let me shoot it exactly once. Some guns feel like they're built like a tank. That one felt like a Swiss watch.puma guy wrote: Thu Jun 24, 2021 10:14 am We, the store I worked for, sold SAKO's back in the 60's.
