I picked up a sentry gun safe at Lowes. As I recall the price was 399 and at the time came with a 100 dollar Lowes gift card. Not exactly huge or rated fireproof but with it being in my master bedroom closet it doesn't have to be totally fireproof.

Do you happen to have a picture of it closed? I've seen some that sort of look like file cabinets, more to keep kids out. Does this one seem pretty secure against a break in? I like those ammo boxes you have.

Not right off hand. The promotion was going on around Father's day. Lowes doesn't have that many safes to choose from but it was the best price for the safe layout that I was looking for.

I bought one at Cabelas last week. If you got one of those promo cards in the mail, you can get at least $75 back when you buy it. For me that meant a $299 safe cost me $225.
Of course, I immediately went over to the gun counter and spent it ;)
