I was talked into shooting an AR-15 once. Only once. I could hardly lift the thing to aim it, it felt like it weighed 80 pounds. Fired one round; I think the magazine clip chamber on that one held over 200 bullets. The recoil was so massive it almost tore my right arm off. That arm still bothers me. And I'll have traumatic PTSD from seeing and shooting that gun for the rest of my life. Although the one I shot didn't have the shoulder thing that goes up. I specifically asked if it did and how to use one...

Sadly I'm afraid there are nuggets of truth in that satire. Like: "This is exactly why we can't have armed citizens taking the law into their own hands," Just a few decades ago the propaganda line was that citizens don't have the training, are not professional enough, etc... in life groups that own a monopoly and get paid for it rarely want to share. Teachers unions are an example that would rather see students fail than have school choice.

I wish that was true. Actually we have had kind of a shortage of U-Haul trucks for one-way trips. I wish it was because they were being stacked at the border.
