Grips for a J-Frame That Do Not Rub Against Speedloaders

Post by Crash »

I just bought a new S&W Model 642-2 and find that using either an HKS Speedloader or a Safariland Comp I Speedloader that the grips rub against the speedloader and prevent, or at least make difficult, getting all the cartridges into the cylinder. Does anybody know of replacement grips that will not rub against speedloaders?

Thanks for any input,

I have only had luck with the old style wooden grips and I have one pair of boot grips that work well. Sent you a PM.

Craig Spegel grips maybe?
It's fine if you disagree. I can't force you to be correct.

I have an SP-101 with a Hogue nylon 'combat' grip that seems to work adequately with HKS j frame speed loaders.
