The wait has begun
I took my class on Nov. 17 and mailed my packet on Nov. 20. I thought the wait wouldn't bother me since I had back surgey on Nov. 27 and won't be able to shoot again until around Christmas....But sitting here healing has given me alot of time, to shop.... and check out the forums... and wait...

Re: The wait has begun
Good evening all,
I have stumbled across this forum in great anticipation of my plastic. It's good to see that I am not the only one with great anxiety about it! Just FYI..here is my timeline...
Application submitted - 10-29-07
Pin rec'd n- 11-26-2007
Current Status - Processing Application
I have to quote a user of this forum who had a great philosophical epithat at the end of his comment...The username escapes me at this point, but, you know who you are..

It seems like there is quite a group of us who were issued today. Cool. Happy CHL day.

The Wait is Over
The Wait is over. Got my plastic in today's mail.
Off to Wally World.

CONGRATS.
I must've got put in the slow line (like I always seem to do at Wally World). I submitted my package on 17 Aug 07 and I didn't get the plastic until the week before Christmas. After several phone calls it was determined that one of my fingerprint cards was "misplaced" and had to be re-accomplished.
Glad to see others are getting theirs in a timely manner
