Springfield XD Sights Adjustable?

Post by Springfield_Fan »

Are the Springfield xd sights able to be adjusted by a gunsmith or do I need to send the slide back into Springfield? Reason I am asking is both me and my dad have shot about 500 rounds in my Springfield XD 40 and both of us are aiming dead center and hitting 6" to 8" wide right on the target at 30 yards.

I don't know where you are, but I would take it somewhere and have the sights checked at about 15 yards by someone. The sights can be moved.

Joe Elledge is a great gunsmith, he can adjust your sights and he happens to be quite the marksman. I'll PM you his number. Give him a buzz and he will meet you at the DFW Gun Range off Mockingbird near 35 and get you fixed up.
