Yes, I have one of each. Laminated stocks, 26" blued bull barrels, Leupold bases. Both have original boxes and papers. Each has been fired, but very few times (and, I'm sad to say) not in at least four years. Pics, phone number, etc., available, pm or email me (orionengnr at yahoo dot com).
The .308 has a crowned barrel and perhaps some trigger work--I recall that the "lawyer lock" has been removed/defeated. This was my first internet firearms purchase, bought from a gentleman in NC off GunBroker. I honestly do not believe I have ever put a round through it.
I bought the .223 used back when I lived in CA, and I only had it out to the range once. Since I left there in 2000, that gives you a time frame. It is a pre-"lawyer lock" rifle.
Both are in excellent condition, pics available.
I'd like $550 each, but if you take both I'll take $1000 for the pair. (If my prices are unrealistic, please let me know!)
FTF in the DFW area is fine, or if you prefer, my FFL does $20 transfers and reasonable shipping.

Those are very nice rifles. I own the 700 VSF in .308, and it's a tack driver (if you don't mind destroying the tack in the process
). I wouldn't mind owning another one myself, particularly your .223, but I'm left handed. I'll gladly refer anybody I know who is looking to this post though.

Thank you. You are right, both are gorgeous. Unfortunately, I get zero use out of either. It's tax time and you know how that goes...
I prefer to sell to Texas CHLers, but if there is no local interest, I will be posting on other boards next week.
