WTT Colt Police Positive Special..again!

Post by Diode »

Ok, guys don't laugh but I am going to try and trade the Colt PPS I just got from JLaws BIL to someone who can appreciate a 40 year old new gun.
I am not a collector as I am a shooter and someone else needs this little pistol. David got a couple of my small pistols which he can use and I'll have an easier time trading one gun instead of two, I hope. I want a Smith and Wesson model 27-x or 28-x blued 5 or 6 in barrel and use the Colt in the trade. Anyone interested? Here is the link to the pictures JLaw posted.

This could be like the guy who started out with a paper clip, and traded his way up to a house.

Mod. 27 no dash. I really need to pay some Dr bills after knee, flu, & pneumonia so not really interested in a trade. Interested in this one? It is a 4.5" Was longer barrel & shortened. Been carried but not abused. I would call it 90%+

Well that's a good idea. I like revolvers, I am on a quest for a 6in one in .41 mag, .45acp or .357. but seriously as much as I like to shoot I would be willing to trade for anything of equal value that I can shoot without feeling guilty!

I guess I need to step aside. I offered a 637 in the original deal, but I'm assuming your investment in the Colt has gone past that. I really don't need it, it's just so handsome!

No actually the 637 is a fair offer, I'll keep it in mind.

OK, this is my story officer & I'm stickin to it.
Diode was lookin at that 27. I had to run into B-Brothers cause I had drank too much coffee. He said, "I'm kinda cold, let me have your keys while you are gone so I can warm up." So when I get back he says, "OOOOHH NOOO, :banghead: I needed to go inside too & locked your keys in the truck. What will we do now?"
No worry Diode, The wife is still asleep so I will call Mom. She has a key & yall need to meet her anyway.

I was the first to call the LEOs. That's my story & I'm stickin to it.
Food truck has arrived so I am goin to work. :tiphat:
