Post by DiverDn »

I would like to start using my 1911's for IDPA and need a holster for me and my wife. Let me know what you have.
Thanks

Check with our member HighVelocity. He had a few to choose from this past weekend. I only took two off his hands for a very reasonable price.

I bet he posts up in a bit.

 I actually sold most of it. I don't have anything left that's IDPA legal.

DiverDn, I think I have an extra Fobus (though I have said I wouldn't even give one to my worst enemy). I will check.

As for your wife, there are several places that make holsters just for women. The only one I can recall off-hand is DelFatti. I think Garrity (sp?) also makes a holster for women.

My wife has two DelFatti's and she likes them quite a bit.

Diver & Mrs. try womensholsters.com. These are holsters for "women only." SHE designs them & SHE makes them. I have not seen them in person but on the web they are impressive.

Thanks - that is kind of why I haven't bought a Fobus, I haven't been impressed with how they work with a Glock.

Thank you both for your suggestions. I have forwarded them to my wife and she is going to look them over and call the companies to see what they reccomend.
