WTS - SW40F - NIB

Post by thankGod »

I have a Smith and Wesson 40 cal for sale. Never been fired, NIB.

It was just appraised (and Bluebooked) at Jim Pruetts Guns and Ammo for $450. Will reduce price for Texas CHL.

The 40 cal is a great round, but it's the only 40 cal I have, and it just sits around. I promise that I will apply all money I receive for this to my "Kimber Relief Fund". Please feel free to give as generously as possible for this noble and worthy cause.

PM if interested. I do not have standard hours, but I will respond as soon as possible.

P.S. Prefer Houston (or surrounding areas)

P.S.S. I have pictures, but I can't find my USB cable to upload pics. Looks like all other SW40F.

Take the money! That's a great offer. They go for $300 at gun shows.

After re-reading my post it seemed I was asking $450. My bad. I should have been a little more clear. Let me try again.

I have a SW40F for sale, NIB. I am willing to GREATLY reduce the Bluebook price for a Texas CHL holder. I am not trying to scam anyone, we all know what this gun sales for new, and it is new. I was only giving a reference to the Bluebook. Sorry if I mislead anyone.

Perhaps I should have added OBO.

And to reiterate, 100% of all funds received will go to my "Kimber Relief Fund". There will be no handling or management fees skimmed for the top. ;-)

SW40F is a first-generation Sigma, no? The current ones are SW40VE. There are differences. FYI.

Gee guys, lighten up. This isn't a debate. I realize this is a 1st generation gun. I am sure there have been changes. I'm only trying to sell the gun.

I purchased the gun about 13 years ago (I'm guessing), and I never got around to shooting it. It's just been lying around. So I might as well sell it so I can buy another 1911, which I will enjoy shooting.

Couple of quick questions... How many mags and what size? (10/15 rds) Does this Sigma have the rectangular firing pin like the Glock, or the redesigned round firing pin post lawsuit? Thanks.

It comes with 1 - 15 round magazine. I never got around to buying any additional mags since I never got around to shooting it.

I believe this may be a pre-lawsuit Sigma, but don't hold me to that. It has the rectangular firing pin similar to the Glock. I actually went into Collectors Firearms to buy a Glock, but the Sigma felt much better in my hands than the Glock did. So I wound up walking out with the Sigma. I remember the salesman telling me that the parts on the Sigma were even interchangeable with the Glock, but I don't now if they really were.
