Pulled over on 1st date

Most CHL/LEO contacts are positive, how about yours? Bloopers are fun, but no names please, if it will cause a LEO problems!

Pulled over on 1st date

Post by para45 »

hmmm where to begin...
Well out on a 1st date and or course i am packing the .45 para on hip at 3:30. Of course I dont tell anyone I pack unless i have known them for awhile and I trust them. So I pick her up and where going to the resturant. Bought me a new car, and the paper tag was hangin by a thread, so i tore it off and never taped it back in the window. (STUIPED ME). Well anyways, i exit off the interstate, and while i am merging on the side road local LEO, it behind the a car, i exit the ramp. Then I think of the plate (oh no im going get lit up), sure enough it happened. So i pull out the wallet, turn the overhead lamps on, she asks me why i turned them on (before leo @ window), I just kinda smiled a smirk :???: . So i pull it out and hand it to the LEO, I didnt say anything of course able the CHL, just let him look at it. He has to just say something! "Sir are you armed", (wish i had a camera for the dates face.) I said yes sir, tell him it on my hip, and then tell him that she doesnt know i have a CHL. By now she is freaking out a little, and started to cry. He just shakes his head and laughes under his breath a little. Then says he'll be right back, I start to talk to her, why she is crying, she didnt know anything about what a CHL was or anything. She thought she was going to go to jail, for something she said. I explained it to her, she settled down a little. He returned and wished us a good nite and drive safe. No ticket or warning WOOHOO :anamatedbanana !! However dinner was a little wierd, and I cut the movie out I had planned and just dropped her back off at home. Lets just say we probably wont be going on a second date.

Give her a chance. Give her a call and see if she has done some research and is still interested in you. She may be?!

That has to been a little weird on a first date. I would have probably started laugh when she started to cry.

Call her up in a few days. Tell her the 2nd date can't be any worse than the first. You might want to wait until you have permanent plates on the car, though.

She probably feels embarassed for the way she acted.

Call her up and make her feel better even if there is no second date.

There could be other problems carrying on a first date. Let's say things are going really well and the chemistry is amazing. As the two of you get physically closer, how will you remain discrete about carrying? How may her discovery that you're carrying a handgun influence the course of the rest of the evening?
it's socially unacceptable to be ahead of your time.

Whaddayamean? Talk about me behind my back??

Funny stuff.

With the price of ammo, range time, and gas these days, a second date is almost like a lifelong committment.
