I'm looking for a pre-lock, bodyguard framed 38 special.
This will be a carry piece so mechanical condition is important but beauty is not.
Thanks
WTB S&W model 38 or 49

You are making an excellent choice in carry guns. I bought an OLD M38 a few years ago, and it carries great. Mine has a few "bumps and bruises", but it functions perfect and has a surprisingly nice trigger.
Good luck with your search.

Re: WTB S&W model 38 or 49
Thanks. I really like my Commander but I've been finding myself crawling in, under, over & around stuff while working this summer and I have to be careful to stay concealed. A snubby in a pocket holster sounds like the best solution in these cases.
I may get free this weekend to do some old-fashioned shopping but gun stores around here are few and far between. With limited time during the day and price of fuel I was hoping to get a lead on a sure thing instead of a bunch of possible maybes.
Enjoy!
