I'm hoping to gain some knowledge from those of you that have set up neighborhood watch programs in your area.
Mars & I recently moved to a neighborhood within city limits. Previously, we lived in the county, which seemed to have a built-in neighborhood watch of sorts.
I'm hearing about vehicle break-ins in other nearby neighborhoods, and suspect and ounce of prevention might help ours.
How do you go about setting this up? What is involved? How do you go about getting neighbors involved?

The NRA & TSRA are a bargain; they're much cheaper than the cold, dead hands experience.

Re: Neighborhood Watch
Your local police department will have info on setting up an official NWP. They usually run it through their public affairs division.
