Please help welcome Rebecca Aguilar to her new job

You can tell in her intro paragraph she is bitter toward fox4--"...But I recently parted ways with the Fox station in Dallas after 14 years. That’s another story." :cryin

I think the first comment on the Blog welcomed her just fine...

“How do I persuade someone to talk on camera, especially like a murder scene? ”

Blindside them in a parking lot then continue to record and ask questions even after they’ve asked not to be on camera and specifically stated - on tape - that they would not speak unless the camera is turned off.

Nevermind that it was an septuagenarian who had just defended his home hours before from a burglar and exercised his legal right to use lethal force.

Shouldn’t the proper question be “How do I shed professional responsibility to pursue a story on a law-abiding citizen?”

Need proof?

You never know, if she has captured and published her "lessons learned", it could be helpful for newbees.

War stories are often more valuable than structured training - but, given her attitude, I wouldn't count on any useful information coming from this woman.

She thinks she was in the right and that her firing was a result of being a "squeaky" wheel,Some people don't seem to be capable of admitting when they are wrong and will continue to do the same thing again and again
It is said that if you line up all the cars in the world end-to-end, someone would be stupid enough to try to pass them

I agree she seems like cowardly hypocritical psuedo-journalist scum and the reason she showed the gentleman's face in the beginning is because once he said don't show it she "couldn't" for integrity purposes but everything before he said "don't" can be showed with "journalistic" integrity in tact.

I worked in broadcast for a cpl years and I can tell you without a doubt few if any on camera talent talking heads have any moral integrity!

A cpl here in Houston are pathetic, they are ego driven, story hawking predators who care nothing about a grieving family or individual.
