heck of birthday

Well guys, just checked today and: "Application Completed - license issued or certificate active".

Its been a rough wait. I took my class on March 1st (Saturday). I mailed it in around the 4th, and it was in Austin on the 6th. Month and half passed by and I got my PIN. Weeks later I got notice to retake fingerprints. I sent those in early/mid June. Then nothing, for a long time. Emailed my state rep, lt. gov, and the Gov. Other than automated responses nothing. 2 weeks pass by and a call from my rep's office gave me a direct line to somebody from DPS. DPS said my new prints basically sat there for almost a month with no action taken, and they were currently "away". finally, today,my birthday, is the good news.


Now to check the mailbox every day until it comes.
