Currently, I am looking to add a longun to my collection. Right now I have a shotgun and a few 9mm pistols, but no long gun. Particulary, I am interested in something to fill the role of in a a problem arises/local civil disturbance. This would also be a fun gun for the range. I don't have any experience with the ar platform but some with the AK.
I keep coming back to the golani (century build $699). They seem to be a more accurate ak.

Does anyone have any experience with them? Can you offer any Input?

(I am also considering going the sig 556 route or even looking at an AR, but that's a totally different price point.)
