WTB: Browning Hi Power POLISHED Blue Factory Slide Stop

Post by AEA »

WTB: Browning Hi Power POLISHED Blue Factory Slide Stop.
I cannot find one anywhere on the Net! All I see are Matte Blue/Hardchrome ones and the other non factory ones such as C&S extended ones, etc.........

My Hi Power is a POLISHED Blue and the finish on the slide stop has worn off to allowing a bit of bare metal to show thru the bluing that is left. It is not terrible, but if I could replace it with a new one or one that is better than what I have, that is what I am looking for.........

If anyone has a Factory one that is in good shape and is POLISHED BLUE, that's what I need. If anyone has a link to a place I can purchase one, that would be good too.

I haven't been to a Gunshow in quite a while. Does anyone think I might find one in someone's parts bin at a DFW Gunshow? I am hesitant to go looking for just that at a Gunshow as I tend to walk out with other, more expensive goodies!

Thanks! :tiphat:

Buy a 3 oz. bottle of Birchwood Casey "Super Blue." Follow directions and save some money. It won't be a perfect match but it will certainly do.
