SOLD- NIB S&W M&P 15OR AR15

Post by 03Lightningrocks »

This rifle has never been fired. Too many guns and it's time to thin out the collection.

I have this rifle listed on Gun Broker. If a starting bid is place on this weapon there, I am locked into it. I can cancel the auction if someone here wants it and speaks up before it sells on GB.

FTF with CHL holder is preferrred, but will ship to your FFL if buyer pays exact shipping costs. I am under the impression that I don't have to ship to an FFL if it is within Texas but this would need verified before shipping the item.

$1425.00

Here are a couple pics of it. I have the ability to take VISA/MasterCard through the company I own but will have to add 3% to cover the fees I have to pay.

Did you notice that was your 556th post? How cool is that... :cool:

ATF website can verify you can ship intrastate. i have done this with members of this board on several occasions.

http://www.atf.treas.gov/firearms/faq/faq2.htm#b1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

"(B8) May a nonlicensee ship a firearm by common or contract carrier? [Back]

A nonlicensee may ship a firearm by a common or contract carrier to a resident of his or her own State or to a licensee in any State. A common or contract carrier must be used to ship a handgun. In addition, Federal law requires that the carrier be notified that the shipment contains a firearm and prohibits common or contract carriers from requiring or causing any label to be placed on any package indicating that it contains a firearm. Thank you very much. :tiphat: I hate to risk getting this thread off topic but I have been chomping at the bit to tell my story from yesterday afternoon. I took a rifle to a post office in Plano, all packed up and an FFL copy in hand of the person the rifle was being shipped to. The dip finkle working there refused to let me ship it. He claimed I had to be a licensed dealer to ship any weapon. I tried to tell him the postal regulations on this and he said I was wrong. I left and went 5 miles down the road to a different post office. No problem there. I was mad as a wet hen at the first post office. :mad5

His supervisor told him that I had to be a licensed dealer. The guy claimed he called the supervisor on the phone. I really get frustrated by this kind of stuff. We shouldn't have to educate the postal workers on their own shipping regulations.
:mad5 I am not even sure how to educate them. When the supervisor is even screwed up, who are you suppose to go to at this point? For now I will just ship from one of the other locations. :banghead:

I probably should do that. Maybe it will keep this problem from happening again.
