60-70

There's about a half ounce of shot in a 2.5" .410 shell and there's about 130 #4 birdshot lead pellets in an ounce.

I think he means #4 buckshot, not birdshot.

There's about ten #4 buckshot lead pellets in a half ounce load. Not sure how many can fit in the shell.

I've got some 3" ones with five of either #3 or #4 - I think #4, but the two are pretty much interchangeable as far as terminal ballistics are concerned. Great for the .45/.410 pistols or any of the lightweight .410 snake guns out there if you want to have a load with some decent punch. It knocks a single big hole in a 55-gallon drum from anything inside 5yds from a 10" Super Comanche, and the recoil is still less than a hot .45LC.
