5 or 10 round double stack AK mag needed

Not so sure that they make a DS 5 round magazine for the AK47, but a 10 rounder would do. My dad wants to hunt with his Romy and I havent been able to locate either one locally. He only needs one, but Im sure he will take two if he must. He will be hunting deer on his property in the Adirondack Mountains in New York, and although its way out in the sticks, he doesnt want any problems with locals seeing him stalking through the woods with a banana sticking out the bottom of his AK. Also, we are not sure of the laws up there concerning hi-cap magazines. He is looking into that. I told him that to be safe as far as the law is concerned, to assume that it is like California where they tend to frown on anything over 10 rounds.

Thermold makes a 10 round AK mag. I see steel 5 round AK mags at gun shows.
