New Resiprocity Agreements??

Post by TEX »

Anyone know what's on the stove in the way of obtaining new resiprocity agreements with other states, specifically; Massachusetts, Iowa, Rhode Island, Ohio, Nevada, Maine, Connecticut, California, Maryland, Oregon, New York and New Jersey. Is the DPS really making any effort, or have they run out of states to approach?

The ball is in their court. Texas already honors concealed permits from most of those states.

And it's not DPS that negotiates/agrees; that's at the state executive branch. FYI, one of the primary reasons Texas honors so many states that don't honor ours is that Texas will permit military personnel under the age of 21 to obtain a CHL, and any under-21 is a no-go in some states.
