Another Colorado question:

Post by asleepatthereel »

Ive read some of the threads started here on carry in CO, as well as trying to get through the laws on the states website, and I think I have a good idea what is expected of Tx residents carrying there. I plan to go next month to Colorado Springs to visit my niece and nephew who are stationed there. They live off base, so no problem there. If we happen to go on the base, Ill leave it at their house. The one thing I was concerned with is something I cant seem to find an answer to on my own, so here it is; Here in Texas, we have to adhere to the infamous 30-06 signs. Do they have anything like that in Colorado? Here in Texas, we can walk right by a 'gunbuster' sign and not break any laws. Is it the same way in Colorado?
Ive been on the computer for hours trying to find an answer, and before I just call a Sherrifs Dept in Colorado, I thought Id ask it here. :txflag:

IIRC private property can be posted and there's no limit on what's valid notice. Public property is different because of pre-emption but IANAL.
