Handsome kids. The ones standing behind the couch aren't too shabby either.

Nice pic but to add on to Oldgringo's comment, I think I remember reading about some kids getting in trouble at school for having similar pics on their myspace or facebook pages.

OTOH, the Brady Bunch will twist this photo out of perspective and use it in their evil and deceptive propaganda. Sorry, but that's the way it is.

If they can separate the school, God and prayer I think they should separate MySpace, Facebook and school as well. My boys are properly taught in regards to firearms and I am proud to say they can shoot as straight as me.

Please forgive me for failing to make the point.
I do agree with you Oldgringo. I hate how the uneducated and unpatriotic (IMHO) people of this country blame firearms for our problems rather than the lack of parenting, teaching and guidance our children receive that would eliminate so many of the things that happen everyday. Maybe one day those people will see the road they are headed down...and dragging us along...before it is too late to turn back.

How things should be is not always how things are.
I think it's great that you're teaching your boys to shoot. I also think it's important to realize that some people in positions of authority don't support civil rights. Forewarned is forearmed.

I guess I am the guy that will stand his ground and tell those people they are MY kids. If we would stand our ground as much as they do maybe we would be winning the fight and we would not have to bend over backwards to make them happy. I pay my bills. I pay my taxes. I go to church. I have a job. I discipline my children. I don't really care what they think. What matters to me is a teacher coming up to me in a restaurant to tell me how she loves my child and wishes all of them were like mine. What matters to me is when a parent at a Boy Scout campout comes up and asks, "Why is your child so well behaved and where does he get those manners?" I think the silent majority should stand their ground and say sure my kid knows how to shoot a gun. He knows how to do it safely. He has the understanding of the responsibility required to do so. He has character and it is not because I didn't "disenfranchise" him but because I raised him with love AND discipline. Let's all stand up for OUR rights for a change.
