Two years from the date on your TR-100 form. However, if you applied online and paid by credit card, your payment evaporates after one year.

Is that right? I was under the impression that the TR-100 was good for 6 months, that if you hadn't filed the TR-100 within 6 months of it's issuance you had to retake the training in order to get a new form?

Or is my thinking flawed in that I'm looking at it from a renewal perspective?

What I said is correct for an initial application.

The six-month limit is for renewals. The rules for that are somewhat convoluted. I really don't understand them.
