*SOLD* FS: Beretta Centurion 96D upper (San Antonio)

Post by poppo »

The slide is in ok condition and has some holster wear as you can see in the picture. the barrel also has some wear on the finish. But otherwise it is in functional condition. The Trijicon NSs are dated 00, but still glow pretty good. Comes with one 11 round .40 mag (only where legal). Keep in mind this is a D slide, so there is no decocker. It will also fit on a full size 92/96 FS frame and retain whatever action you have (i.e. SA/DA). So it makes a nice (compact) .40 conversion for a 92FS (4.3" barrel vice 4.9")

If you just need a 9mm Centurion upper, you can always buy one of those new Centurion 9mm barrels from cdnninvestments.com for $49 and toss it in there. Yes it will work. I put my Vertec barrel in it and it works fine, and others have done the same. Beretta now uses the same extractor and ejector for 9mm and .40 and the slight difference in breach face with 9mm being smaller does not effect anything. It would not work the other way around though (.40 in a 9mm breach face)

$125 delivered or $115 FTF San Antonio area only. PM me if you have any questions or want pictures of it on a full size frame.

BTW, those are the NS date markings at the front of the slide by the barrel and not wear.

Edited original post as mistakenly said it was a 15 round mag when the .40 mags are 11 round.

Come on you 92 folks, you know you want a .40 conversion or to make that full size gun a bit smaller for carry. ;-)

$105 shipped. $100 FTF (provided I don't have to drive very far).

BTW, if you wanted to make your FS SA/DA DAO for a better match to the slide, all you have to do is remove the sear (very easy). You could put in a DOA hammer too if you wanted, but it's not necessary.
