Northerner checking in

Post by markthenewf »

... from the land of snow, hockey, Molsen beer, and the most boring politics known to man: Canada. I've been in Texas for a little over a decade and finally got off my rear went out and got a 1911 for me, a 9 mm for the missus (so she'd stop using my nice 45), and I just finished the CHL course a few weeks ago. I mostly inhabit m1911.org, but have been lurking here for a week or so and I finally decided to take the plunge and get involved.

So... uhhh.... what else... uhhhh.... Oh yeah: hi.
Cheers!

Mark

Welcome to the forum markthenewf! You will not only gain knowledge and get information, you might even get a laugh or two! Some of these guys (not mentioning names!), make it a habit of getting us to roll on the floor, with their "funnies", not to mention some of the stories we get about, let's say - broken strings on short pants at Wal-Mart! :rolll

Glad to have you aboard! I've got kinfolk down in Katy. Far enough out of Houston so that a little further to the west is a little more countryside. Keep an eye out for the jesters :biggrinjester: that hang around here....they'll sneak up on you..... :coolgleamA:

Other than that, enjoy your time in here. Many different perspectives on many different topics. Ask, and you shall receive more information than you can imagine.....
