Looking to acquire a Mossberg 500, 590 or equivilant Remington model.
DFW Area preferred, but I am not against the idea of a bit of a drive for a good deal. Looking to spend about $300.
Extra kudos if it's got one of those pistol grip/stocks on it (as opposed to just a pistol grip or just a stock)

Pretty sweet deal here: http://www.gunsamerica.com/guns/976750629.htm
New unfired M-500 with pistol grip AND a brand new Kahr P9 for $600.00
It isn't going last long.

Don't overlook this...
Nitrogen,
As a suggestion, last November I picked up a Mossie 800(?) model pump, camo patterned furniture, with strap, truglo sights and case for <$180 at the pawn shop off I-30 & Beltline. No wear, a few cosmetic scratches.
Based on last weeks trap shooting, I could easily have sold it for a profit.

The 500 and the Maverick 88 by Mossberg are near identical. The forearm on the 88 is not replaceable by aftermerket items..nitrogen wrote:Looking to acquire a Mossberg 500, 590 or equivilant Remington model.Looking to spend about $300.

But a 12 guage 88 will cost about $149 on sale at Acadamy. A simple pistol grip and heat shield will cost about $50. If you want to go with a low recoil tactical stock (for the 500/88) it runs about $130.
Yu can get what you need for $300, new. I have an 88, and have owned 500s in the past. No difference in performance.
