Does anyone know where I can find Ciener .22 LR mags for a 1911? I've tried all of the usual sources but everyone is out and not taking backorders. The plastic Kimber mags that came with my conversion won't fit in a frame with a mag well, even after I trimmed it as far as I could.

I think Ciener quit production of the steel mags and went to polymer. You might find some on Gunbroker.
Have you tried contacting Ciener about the issue? Maybe they have a different version of polymer mag.

Thanks for the information; I'll call Ciener. If their polymer mags. have the same mag base as the Kimbers, then I'll be selling it.Keith B wrote:I think Ciener quit production of the steel mags and went to polymer. You might find some on Gunbroker.
