Went to the range in Fort Hood, Tx, on Monday 11 Jan 2010. I fired 300 rounds with my Taurus PT111 Millennium Pro 3rd Gen. I loaded a mix of 115 gr, 124 gr, 147 gr, JHP and FMJ, several times mixed in the same magazine, with no failures of any kind. Report as follows:
Different loads of ammo I used on this run.

My PT111 with Williams Fire Sights. I can't say I really use them, because I fire with both eyes open. But they are pretty, lol

At 10 yds, 1 mag loaded with a mix of 115 gr, 124 gr, 147 gr, JHP and FMJ loaded in the magazine in no particular order

At 10 yds, 2 mags loaded with 115 gr Winchester White Box

At 25 yds, a mix of 115 gr, 124 gr, 147gr, JHP and FMJ

The PT111 had three FTF's when it was new, on the first two mags I fired. But then I came home and took it apart, and it had gun grease all over it. I cleaned it real good, oiled it, and it has been flawless for the next 450 rounds. Recoil is very soft and very controllable even with 147 gr ammo, and the trigger pull is short and light. It fires standard loads, +P, +P+ of any brand and shape without a hiccup and its fun to shoot, my hand or my thumb don't hurt after a couple hundred rounds, like with some other guns. Yep, its a keeper. Its also my daily carry.
Regards,
