Sneaking In

Post by Wilson »

I got my pin # in the mail today (8/10/06) and have submitted the ol’ credit card number via the online web site (current status; No application or license/certificate active). As I have already completed the renewal-course and have the necessary forms ready to mail once I receive my renewal application, I’m putting my self in the waiting room

PS I hope the state gets it processed before my CHL expires at the end of January.

I hope so too. I will take my renewal class tomorrow & my current expires Jan. 14, '07. I don't want a gap.
But then I can always say to a 6'5" 245 lb mugger. "Mess w/ me dude & I'll turn my wife loose on you."

Status updated late on 8/11/06 or early 8/12/06 to “Application received., so I guess I’m really supposed to be in the Waiting Room now

Now if I could get my Renewal Application, so I could send in my paper work, I would feel better. :???:

Just an update for other “Trackers

As of August 15th my online status reads “Packet Mailed to Applicant.. I suspect that it will take a couple of days before it reaches my mailbox.

$1000? Wow.

I don't think the paper is worth much more than 10 cents face value.

Hopefully it goes through for you quickly!

That $1,000.00 is to cover my time, effort and gasoline, if I have to reassemble another 10¢ worth of paper

Exactly one month after my completed renewal application was mailed, my online status has been changer from “Packet Mailed to Applicant. to “Application incomplete - missing information - detailed letter has been sent.. This is the same message that was posted on my wife’s when the state finally acknowledged receiving hers. A call to the state on hers got us a reply of “She would need to contact the instructor that completed her TR-100 as the number on the form had been previously issued.. A call to the instructor eventually cleared every thing up. I sure hope that is all that will be required on mine when I call tomorrow :???:

I finally got through to the good folks in Austin. My guess was correct, they say the number shown on my TR-100 has already been used and ask that I mail a photo copy of my Blue bordered Training Certificate which has a number on it. The number on the Training Certificate matches the TR-100 form, so it looks like someone else has used my number previously for there to be a duplication in my number. I trust the this clerical error will be corrected and my new CHL issued before my current one expires in January ‘07
