Times to check status?

Post by Sewer_Ice »

I figure that the office is open from 9am-5pm, so is there any point in checking after 5:00p.m?
Has anyone ever checked twice after 5 and seen their status change from processing to active/issued?

Figure I get more anxious the more often I check it, so if I know I can check it less often, I won't be getting so antsy.

From what I've seen, your status can change at any time.
A lot of people have checked it before bedtime and discovered that it has changed by morning.

I remember that I checked mine on a Friday night and on Saturday morning it changed to "complete".
There are even reports of it changing on Sunday mornings.

LIA checked at 1am, and it was still showing processing. He got up at like 4:30am, and it had switched to complete.

Also some people have had theirs change to complete on a weekend. So I guess it can happen at any hour, day or night.

Damn, I was hoping I could close the tab that's permanently open to check the status... I'm on day 24, average is 23 to show complete (right now). Just have to keep waiting, and watching.

Remember to breathe! You are getting close. And your wait really hasn't been that long! Last year at this time it was common for someone to get their license 3, 4 and sometimes 5 months after they turned in the paperwork. ;-)

It took me longer to get a PIN (5weeks) than it's taking for the new guys to get Plastic in hand.

One thing about it...if you didn't have your Texas Driver's License number memorized before, you do now! :thumbs2:

it changes at or around midnight, and only then. It will never change during the day time.

I used to think the same thing and would sit up till midnight to check for any changes.

But after reading countless reports of status changes at any given time of the day, I'm pretty sure that
the midnight theory has been debunked.
