Is it a professional sporting event or a school sponsored function? If so, then no, you can't carry. But I carried legally to a Tea Party event at a minor league stadium in Ft Worth last year.

As stated, professional sporting events are a BIG no-carry per the CHL laws. Information here http://www.handgunlaw.us/states/texas.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and see the prohibited places.

I dont like carrying any place that has a lot of armed police anyway. If there are armed police around whats the point. It would just all end up like a Quentin Tarantino film. No thanks!

Is the Ballpark parking lot posted 30.06?
Didn't find anything either way searching here.
I assume since Texas3006 doesn't have anything listed that it's NOT posted, but wanted to check with the collective before heading out there today. Lots of running around today, then heading to the game before I have a chance to go home (since they moved the game from 7:PM to 3"PM today for TV). Was planning to lock it up in the nano vault in the car. Just wanted to make sure the parking lot was ok.

Thanks.

RGB,

I have been there several times this year and I didn't see any 30.06 signs in the parking lots.

Of course professional sporting events are off limits, but don't believe the parking lot is posted (wasn't last time i was there about 8 months ago), so you should be fine.

Thanks guys... I didn't see any signs in the lot, and the Rangers won. :hurry:

Security was very visible at the ballpark.

Oh man, please don't carry into the ballpark. I don't want to hear my daughter railing about arresting somebody who didn't know their CHL basics. :rules:

Parking Lot.
We're only talking about the parking lot...
Clearly the stadium is off limits during sporting events.

You should be fine to carry in the Majestic Grand Slam Gift Shop, Legends of the Game Museum, Diamond Club restaurant, offices, and throughout the stadium during a tour when a game is NOT going on. . .

I've never seen a posted parking lot there. Trivia fact: Tom Hicks still owns many of the parking lots.
